Team Axxios has gone through several iterations over the years. Originally founded on February 8th, 2008 as a RuneScape clan by user Technorex under the name: Pulvis Et Umbra Sumas, Latin for 'We are but dust and shadow.' It was a community clan, not designed for a specific type of player (like clans for Pures, Player-Killing, or Skills) instead it mostly followed the many Minigames RuneScape had to offer. Original members include asnipergecko, ambes, motoviking, and many others.

After about 7-8 months the clan had dissolved from its peak of 131 members down to a common-play of about 20 wherein they primarily focused on the Fist of Guthix minigame and Castle Wars. Most of the members by this point had moved to other MMORPGs or, for the core of the active players: to console.

For the founders, most in high school at the time, Halo, Battlefield, and Army of Two dominated the after-school hours. Original founder Technorex stopped playing Halo after 3-months leaving Pulvis Et Umbra Sumas to the now 'a sniper gecko' on Xbox360.

The core players at the time focused on small social skirmishes with other groups and creating obstacle courses. Inactivity eventually lead Pulvis Et Umbra Sumas to take a hiatus, and a sniper gecko joined the BF3 clan: Sons of Anarchy. Shortly thereafter he built his first PC and collected some of the old RuneScape clan members back together and formed Pulvis Et Umbra Sumas once more on GTAV and it was but dust and shadow of its former self. The Rockstar 'crew' remained active with players Raveniam, Brony, and diamondmax using the 4-letter tag **AXIO** because all were welcome.

By that time, a sniper gecko spent most of the time in a new BF4 clan called HellBound Soldiers, led by a man named kGb, leaving Raveniam to lead Pulvis Et Umbra Sumas. GTAV and BF4 took their toll, and Pulvis Et Umbra Sumas was fairly inactive with an average daily user count of 9.

Raveniam, a sniper gecko (under the name Munarya), and Technorex moved to Uncharted Waters Online and due to a character limit, the clan was founded in the in-game company system as "RELIC" with the tagline "AXXIOS!" because all were welcome.

RELIC/Pulvis Et had a Ventrilo server that was moderately active and a sniper gecko/Munarya was promoted to in-game moderator in UWO. RELIC faced some adversaries in UWO, with other companies viewing RELIC's 'all are welcome' as unimaginative, and regularly challenged a sniper gecko in chat in major cities. Eventually, a few pirate players decided to actively target RELIC members in open-waters (PvP zones) making gaming more difficult.

With UWO becoming less and less fun and irl friends out-levelling the group, a sniper gecko rebranded RELIC as AegeanEpizontes to no avail. Shortly thereafter the members moved on. Returning to the world of Battlefield, learning that HBS had grown a bit, Sons of Anarchy had disbanded on console, and only one had moved to PC, it was time to bring forth a new era. T.A.G. was born from the old tagline of AXXIOS and into Team Axxios Gaming, a group designed outside of clan/crew/company stigmas.

With the release of Halo 4 and the popularity of BF4 among the remaining members, T.A.G. became a console group once more. Halo became a SWAT and Forge-focus game for T.A.G. and BF4 was devoted to pistol-knife only games.

As to be expected, with time tastes change and T.A.G. spread a little more to not focus so much. New members joined from PUBG on PC, Halo, and BF on console and T.A.G. saw its first true growth since its RuneScape iteration. Then T.A.G. members learned of a new program; one far better than Ventrilo.

Along came Discord. February 26th, 2017.

Sniper Gecko and Raveniam recruited in Myrrodin to the all-new Team Axxios Gaming Discord server. With focus now on PUBG and Minecraft, they hosted servers and brought in many new members. Technorex initially wanted the Discord server to be a hub for other streamers to use and leadership was called Administreamers. This concept soon died out, and Technorex(Axxios CEO) went on to create a new Discord server from scratch.

Team Axxios got a new logo. It was reorganized with Raveniam, who updated her name to Venatrix Rose, and Kyro Incognito and Sprockur were brought in to lead other conceptual pillars of Team Axxios. Axxios Leadership spent a lot of time chatting and planning about how we wanted to be perceived by the public. We then established the Good-Gamer concept.

The GG Concept was simple; if there is a voice or text chat in a game and you have the ability to message the enemy team at the end, you say good game. More than that, you say it every. single. time. The Good-Game concept, utilized in the Master Chief Collection, brought in more members like TheDorf and Lady Chaos, and advertisements brought us xsxexvxexnx and crandamaniac. We rearranged how leadership was handled, splitting it into six departments each with its own administrator. In this way, it seemed that all avenues of online gaming could be conceptually covered/handled under one or more departments.

August 8th, 2022.

Sprockur, Venatrix Rose, Sniper Gecko, xsxexvxexnx and Technorex set about to improve the foundation for our community. Guilded offered nearly all the same features as Discord, but also added significantly more. It was also a more financially wise decision, as Discord was costing us collectively over $50 USD per month which was both unnecessary and unsustainable.

The logo remained nearly the same, moving towards the Team Axxios Carbon as primary and the Team Axxios Global as our banner. The Axxios Axxolotls were given a bit of an upgrade, and with Guilded's integrated bot-builder, the Axxolotls had more to do. With a better foundation we prepared to grow through our World of Warcraft guild and re-launched our 1.16.5 Modded Minecraft server. The core members from the Discord joined the new Guilded and we announced to all of Discord on the 22nd that Discord would soon be closed for good.

Roblox- owners of Guilded and unfortunate deciders of our future there -opted for destruction. By July 15th, 2024, all Guilded users were required to have Roblox logins. Team Axxios has always opted since the departure from RuneScape to avoid being beholden to a singular platform or game. This unfortunately meant crawling back to Discord. Technorex quietly relieved themselves of direct involvement and all management decision for Team Axxios was left to Sprockur, Venatrix Rose and Sniper Gecko. After our first attempt to have a custom bot made we switched to a different coder in hopes of a working product in under a years time and at a reasonable cost. We set our gaze upon a vibrant and chromatic horizon for Team Axxios; with our renewed determination, Axxem bot and completely renovated website and a new platform (Campground) in the works where we can leave Discord and Guilded behind forever; the future is more colorful than ever.
